About Eco-Explorers

Ages 9-12

Explore careers working with animals, practice your zoology skills and more by choosing from a variety of exciting 4-day camps focused on wildlife and conservation. Come for a half- or full-day adventure and experience lots of hands-on activities and animal interactions.

Eco-Explorers Camp sessions run for four days (Monday-Thursday). Morning sessions are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Afternoon sessions are from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. All-day sessions are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Make the week of June 26th an all-day session by signing up for the morning and afternoon camp; children are supervised from 12:00-1:00 for an additional $10/week. All-day campers should bring a bag lunch.

Animal Careers

June 26-29, 2023 | 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon

Explore careers working with animals and experience what it’s like to be a zookeeper, animal trainer, biologist, and veterinarian. This camp is designed for youth who have completed grades 3-5 or are ages 9-11.

Zoofari

June 26-29, 2023 | 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Grab a backpack, strap on your hiking boots, and join us as we embark on a zoofari! Connect with wildlife through animal encounters, nature exploration, games and experiments! This camp is designed for youth who have completed grades 3-5 or are ages 9-11.

Zookeeper Boot Camp

July 17-20, 2023 | 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (All Day)

Tie your hair back and leave the flip-flops at home! You’ll have a blast getting down and dirty as you spend the week learning what it’s like to work with animals at a zoo. This camp is designed for youth who have completed grades 3-6 or are ages 9-12.

Cost:

Half Day for 4 days:
$95 Members | $115 Non-Members

All Day for 4 days:
$200 Members | $240 Non-Members

Camp t-shirts are optional and cost an additional $10 during check out. Each week of camp has the same t-shirt design.
