Fierce Hearts: Art by Animals
Enjoy Art by the Animals of Lake Superior Zoo & Artfully Displayed Biofacts!
Join us at the St Louis County Depot from July 26th (exhibit opening from 6PM – 8PM) through August 13th, for Fierce Hearts: Art by Animals. All the art has been produced by animals residing at the Lake Superior Zoo.
You will see the artistic creations from the animals, hear from CEO Haley Hedstrom, peruse the displays of biofacts and learn about wildlife!
Guests can purchase art pieces during opening night and throughout the showing, right here on our website. Pieces will be available for pick up the week following exhibit close. Those dates are August 15th – 21st from 10AM – 5PM (more details below).
Funds raised from the sale of animal art will go towards animal care and conservation right here at the Lake Superior Zoo!

How do I pick up my original animal art?
If you have made a purchase, your painting will be marked as sold on exhibit and on our website. All pieces are one of a kind originals. Your painting must remain on exhibit through August 13th but will be available for pickup at the Lake Superior Zoo from August 15th – 21st.
When you arrive at the zoo please let them know at the admissions booth that you are here to pick up your art piece. They will notify the office and your painting will be retrieved for you.
