Safari Cafe

Hours: Mid-May to Labor Day from 11am - 4:30pm

Gather together with ice cold slushies, warm tasty cheeseburgers, or salty, giant pretzels and relax in the café or outside dining deck to plan the next leg of your zoo journey. Kids will love our Safari Meals which include a hot dog or cheese sandwich, chips, sippy cup with fountain drink and a cookie, for just $3.75.

Zoo Train (weather dependent)

Hours: Running daily 11:30am - 4pm mid-May until Labor Day, and then weekends only until Boo at the Zoo.
Train tickets are $2 each. Age 2 and younger ride for free. Kids under 5 must be accompanied by and adult.

Deep in the heart of the Lake Superior Zoo, next to our jungle playground, lies our happy zoo train. While it doesn't go to Timbuktu, it takes a nice curvy route along some of our most popular exhibits. Don't miss out, hop aboard the train today!
