 Earth Tracks

  May 15, 2009 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

The Lake Superior Zoo would like to invite you to take part in our annual Earth Tracks Event! This year our Earth Tracks coincides with Endangered Species Day, so our focus will be on threatened species.

What is Earth Tracks?
This event is designed to inspire, educate and motivate children to reduce human impact on the Earth through the concepts of reducing, reusing and recycling, energy and land conservation, and alternative to using chemicals.

How do we do that? Local businesses and organizations with environmental messages advocate and inspire attendees. The students participate in an environmental scavenger hunt, with all participants receiving a reward upon completion. They are also asked to sign a pledge to change habits to positively affect the Earth.

Bring your students on a fun filled Environmental Field trip to your Zoo!
