Winter & Spring Classes

Various classes for ages 
2-17
Varies Varies Participants will explore a variety of different animal topics through hands-on activities, crafts and animal encounters. Pre-registration is required. Students should dress for the weather. (see webpage or newsletter for current programs)
Homeschool Classes This program targets  ages 7-12
$13 for members and $15 for non-members 2 hours These classes offer instruction on a variety of environmental and animal related topics. Classes are structured to sharpen observation skills and provide opportunities for hands-on learning. Parents and siblings are not allowed in class unless they are registered as a participant. Pre-registration required. Students should dress for the weather. (see webpage or newsletter for current class list)
Summer
Camps

Various camps for ages 4-12
$13 - $165 depending on length and membership Varies by age. Ages 6-12 can choose from half day or all day camps. Children will explore the animal world while making friends with zoo critters and other children. Each camp features hands-on activities, crafts, games and tours that inspire children to care about wildlife, conservation, and the natural world. Pre-registration is required. (see webpage or newsletter for list of camps)
Zoo Crew Summer Program

Teens ages 13-17 $50 per six week session 3-hr shift each week of a session

Session I June 10-July 19, 2013

Session II July 22-August 30, 2013  
The Zoo Crew Program is an educational program for middle and high school students intended to promote interest in animal care, careers in biological sciences, participation in community service, and a working knowledge of zoos and their place in conservation, education, recreation, and research with animals.
